If you live in the Pacific Northwest, this wild flower mix is the one for your landscape setting. It is formulated for elevations below 7000 feet in northern California, western Oregon and western Washington. The mix contains 60% annuals and 40% perennials for a long-lasting color display. The species in this mix include: Columbine, Cornflower, Siberian Wallflower, Shasta Daisy, Dwarf Godetia, Clarkia, Chinese Houses, Lance-leaved Coreopsis, Plains Coreopsis, Larkspur, Sweet William, California Poppy, Blanketflower, Annual Baby's Breath, Candytuft, Spurred Snapdragon, Blue Flax, Scarlet Flax, Russell Lupine, Baby Blue Eyes, Globe Gilia, Corn Poppy, Black-eyed Susan, and Catchfly. Prepare a site by removing weeds and loosening soil. Seed can be broadcast and raked into the soil, covering 2 - 3 times their thickness, or seed can be drilled to a maximum of ¼ inch. This Northwest mix should be planted in the spring once soil temperature warm to 55F. Seed should stay moist by either rainfall or irrigation until germination occurs.
